The tank flap can be released manually if the tank unlocking system should fail to operate.

Open the boot lid.
Lift the floor panel.
Release the ring from the holder and carefully pull the ring
Fig. 210► ►. The tank flap is then released.
Stop pulling the ring when you feel resistance (the release mechanism is not audible). Otherwise, you could damage the manual release mechanism.
